Polymetcore has been focusing mostly on trading chrome ore, ferrochrome, coal and coke, fertilizers and metals. The end users of Polymetcores’ products are mainly used for stainless steel products in the health and medical – as well as construction industries.  

Polymetcore is currently selling to more than 50 countries, on four different continents, products from other subsidiaries of the Group. This includes products from EtiKrom, Yilkrom, Voskhod Chrome, Tikhvin Ferroalloy, Vargön Alloy as well as Kluchevsky Ferroalloy plant, and is fortunate enough to enjoy competitive advantages thanks to the vertical integration of the Group, the synergy and expertise from e.g. the shipping - and logistic arms. Kluchevsky Ferroalloys Plant’s low carbon ferrochrome and chrome metal, are the most recent commodities in Polymetcore’s product range. By signing this exclusive off - take agreement it also enabled Polymetcore to broaden its customer portfolio.


Thanks to its international sales and distribution networks, Polymetcore is able to provide its metals and mining customers with just in time delivery service on a global level. Today Polymetcore plays a central role in all of the Group’s trade flows and has more recently become the interface of the Group towards all internal and external parties.

The Yilcoque subsidiary in Colombia supplies Metcoke to the Groups own ferroalloy plants.  What comes to the fertilizers sold through Polymetcore, these are all distributed from the Group subsidiary called Gemlik Gubre. The fertilizer product range includes ammonia, nitric acid, CAN (Calcium Ammonium Nitrate) as well as AN (Ammonium Nitrate).
