Polymetcore Trading SA was established in 2014 in Switzerland, as the commodity sales arm for mining and metals and fertilizer sectors of YILDIRIM Group. The original idea of establishing Polymetcore in Switzerland was the economic, social, and legal stability of the country and its global awareness in terms of commodity market. Throughout the years, there has been a fast development within the company what comes to strong increase in handled volumes, number of employees as well as banking relations, which further has put Polymetcore on the map as an important name in the international ferroalloy industry. Polymetcore is currently trading with more than 50 countries, on four different continents. Products from other subsidiaries of YILDIRIM Group including products from Eti Krom, Yılkrom, Voskhod Chrome, Tikhvin Ferroalloy, Vargön Alloys, AlbChrome, and NewCo Ferronikeli are marketed by Polymetcore. Polymetcore is also currently trading Fertilizer and Chemicals with 3 producer Group Companies Gemlik Gübre, Petrokemija and Rosier.
Group’s has completed first global acquisitions in the fertilizer industry with Rosier and Petrokemija, which makes a significant contribution becoming a global player in the fertilizer industry. By the recent developments and acquisitions Group has reached 3.8 M tons of total fertilizer production capacity.
